Project Data
Across three floors, Fairbrother Facility Management transformed existing under-utilised campus spaces into newly built staff and student spaces. The project team created a new staff room on level 2, to provide additional staff workspace. Meanwhile, on level 1, student social spaces were constructed. This was achieved by removing a large section of floor to create the “social stair” space.
The social stair offers space for student break time, student gatherings and will function as a teaching space. The ground floor was converted to yield a dedicated space for the “Breakfast Club”, as well as an area for students to “heat and eat” meals from home. The works were successfully completed during the third and fourth school terms. This required significant co-ordination with the school community, to ensure minimal disruptions to the school experience.
