Project Data
The construction of the new CH Smith building on Canal Street, in Launceston sees Service Tasmania move from its Henty House location.
This revamped space within the new development includes modular workstations and tambour units to create a large open-plan office space.
Project-specific tambour storage units were manufactured to client expectations after prototype inspection approval. This process allowed the full needs of the client to be met.
Utilising Australian manufactured electric height adjustable workstations throughout, the 229 workstations supplied each have an acoustic rated fabric wrapped partition screen.
A variety of in-desk soft wiring configurations were used on the project to meet client requirements.
The fit-out also included the supply and installation of Tas Oak timber credenzas to enclosed offices as well as banquette seating to several open plan meeting spaces throughout the building.
